Cannes parking guide
Looking for parking in Cannes? The city center is busy year-round, with peaks during the Cannes Film Festival (May), MIPIM (March) and Cannes Lions (June). This guide rounds up the best garages, free street parking and practical tips for visitors and locals.
Best parking garages
For the Croisette and Palais des Festivals, head to Parking Palais (under the venue) or Parking Pantiero (toward the old port). For the eastern end of the Croisette and the public beaches, Parking Roseraie is the cheapest. Most underground garages charge €2.50–€3.80 per hour or €18–€30 per day.
Free parking in Cannes
Parking Turckheim is fully free and a 12-minute walk to the shopping street Rue d'Antibes. Many streets in the République district, Riou and La Bocca offer free on-street parking. On-street paid zones are free Monday–Saturday from 7 pm to 9 am, and all day on Sundays and public holidays — except during major festivals.
Tips for festivals
- During the Cannes Film Festival, park near the Bocca train station and take the TER train (5–10 min) to the center.
- MIPIM is busiest 8–10 am; arriving before 8 gives you the best chance at a Palais garage spot.
- For Cannes Lions in late June, combine festival traffic with peak beach season — biking is often faster than driving.
